About etc

We usually produce four plays per year which are usually comedies or drama.

We are located at the Bradshaw Street Hall, 9 Bradshaw Street, West Essendon.

Melways 28 B3. Enter from the Buckley Street end.

This year we will produce 4 plays one of which will be entered in the Victorian Drama League Awards.

Whether you’re a novice, or an experienced veteran looking to get back on the stage at somewhere new, etc welcomes everyone from actors, directors, to backstage crew to join us. Come and be a part of upcoming productions at etc and meet fellow creative people who share a passion for the arts and theatre.

etc does not conduct acting classes for either children or adults. We have very few productions which involve children onstage (apart from our occasional pantomime).

On the occasions when we do have rehearsals and performances involving children we require that they be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Virtually all activities take place in the evenings and at weekends. There are no daytime weekday activities.

etc does not normally produce musicals as such, although many of our productions contain singing, dancing and live or recorded music.
